Prom Praise: Chariots of Fire
Join Michael and the All Souls Orchestra for the annual Prom Praise gala at the Royal Albert Hall as All Souls Music celebrates the life of famed runner Eric Liddell. A concert inspired by the great races of scripture – Elijah’s chariot of fire, the Father who runs towards the prodigal and Paul’s challenge to ‘run the race’ – this concert will be a festival of worship and music which will inspire all generations in attendance. This concert will also be live-streamed on YouTube.
Christmas at the Movies (3pm)
Join Michael and the All Souls Orchestra with special guests West End Has Faith for a special evening of Christmas music from the movies. Nate Morgan-Locke will be guiding us through a selection of Christmas films, taking us on a journey towards the real meaning and hope of Christmas. The concert will feature music from the scores of It’s a Wonderful Life, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Scrooge: the Musical, Home Alone and The Nightmare Before Christmas as well as favourite Christmas carols to sing along to. Performances are at 3pm and 7pm.

A Christmas Carol with the All Souls Orchestra
Join the All Souls Orchestra for their annual Christmas musical extravaganza.
The programme of orchestral favourites, solos and audience carols will weave the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from the chains of greed and isolation into a new life of generosity and joy.
Inspired by Charles Dickens’ much-loved story of second chances, ‘A Christmas Carol’ will have something for everyone. Music from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Muppets Christmas Carol and Scrooge the Musical, as well as many of your favourite Christmas carols, will weave the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey from the chains of greed and isolation into a new life of generosity and joy.
Under the direction of Conductor Michael Andrews, the Orchestra is joined by the celebrated actors of West End Has Faith.
The concert will include a short thought on the real meaning of Christmas found in the Nativity story. Come and join for this Dickensian feast of musical delights!
Christmas Praise – Evening Performance
For Christmas Praise in 2019, the All Souls Orchestra are thrilled to welcome one of the modern church’s most acclaimed songwriters, Paul Baloche. Paul is a good friend of the All Souls Orchestra having joined them for Prom Praise on a number of occasions and we’re looking forward to sharing Paul’s love of Christmas songs. His Christmas Worship album’s are very popular worldwide and we are looking forward to combining them with the All Souls Orchestra sound.
Sarah Stroh, is also a long-standing friend of the Orchestra having performed on many Prom Praise events over years from Belfast to Bulgaria. Most recently she joined a distinguished line-up of Prom Praise sopranos in a memorable performance at the Royal Albert Hall in April.
All Souls Orchestra’s new Principal Conductor, Michael Andrews, is looking forward delving into all the favourite Christmas orchestral repertoire and leading you in singing some of your favourite carols.

Impossible Groovers' Fundraiser Concert for the Children of the Amatola Township
Join us for a fantastic evening of showtunes, operatic arias, and lots of funk and Motown in what promises to be yet another year of wonderfully eclectic music. Hosted by the inimitable Andy Pritchard. I’m looking forward to accompanying lots of singers on the piano, performing a comedy patter-song(!) and playing some sax in the Groovers’ funky second-half set. Get your dancing shoes on!
Cockfosters Community Chorus and Big Band Concert
Join me, the Cockfosters Community Chorus, and a seventeen-piece big band for some epic tunes from the world of cinema, some newly jazzed-up psalms, and some classic jazz standards. There will be a short pause for thought to think about the greatest story ever told. Rehearsal to sing in the choir will begin on Thursday 23rd May in Christ Church House – free for those joining us for the first time, and £20 for those who have sung with us before.

Impossible Groovers' Annual Fundraiser
The Impossible Groovers’ annual fundraiser for Sunday Schools in South Africa takes place with the band bringing some classic funk and soul grooves to the dance floor. Michael will be playing the sax, as well as accompanying some soloists on the piano. Handel and Hendrix Museum-RNIB Young Composers' Concert TBC
Michael will be leading a composition course, guiding a number of young composers as they prepare new compositions which will be premiered at the Handel and Hendrix Museum for this staple annual concert. Details to follow.
Swing a New Song – Cockfosters Community Chorus and Big Band Concert
Michael conducts the Cockfosters Community Chorus who will be joined by a seventeen piece-big band, the London Soprano Joanne McGahon, singer-songwriter Andy Pritchard, and the Harmonise Vocal Trio. Featuring plenty of classic jazz standards, Andrews Sister medlies, and a performance of one of Andrew Daldorph's Jazz Psalms.
